 Do you love the way the light dances across the water in Monet's Waterlillies or the simplicity of a Cezanne Still Life?  Learn to loosen up your brushstrokes in this acrylic painting course, focusing on the impressionistic style of some famous painters from the past.  Colour theory, brushwork and composition are just a few of the topics we'll cover, while enjoying the versatility of this medium. 

* Beginners are welcome in this course.

Lino Block Printing: Learn the art of lino block carving to create single and multi coloured limited edition prints.  Start with the perfect design, carve your block and print as many copies as you wish.  We'll discuss techniques with the carving blades, the ideal paper to use, how to layer one colour over another, and much more.  Printing on paper or fabrics such as a tea towel or tote bag is also an option.

Silk Screen Printing: Here’s your chance to unwind from the week, enjoy an adult libation or two and settle in for a relaxed evening exploring the vibrant possibilities of silkscreen printing. You’ll learn all about the printmaking process, experiment with mixing colours and then pull a series of prints you can take home to enjoy. It’s a fun time – make it a date night with your partner or BFF. Or fly solo and make new BFFs. No experience necessary and all levels welcome. All materials are provided. 1 complimentary bar beverage per participant plus cash bar (19+) or unlimited soft drinks included.
